An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride

Zagan is feared by the masses as an evil sorcerer. Both socially awkward and foulmouthed, he spends his days studying sorcery while beating down any trespassers within his domain. One day he's invited to a dark auction, and what he finds there is an elven slave girl of peerless beauty, Nephy. Having fallen in love at first sight, Zagan uses up his entire fortune to purchase her, but being a poor conversationalist, he has no idea how to properly interact with her. Thus, the awkward cohabitation of a sorcerer who has no idea how to convey his love and his slave who yearns for her master but has no idea how to appeal to him begins.

Zagan and Nephy's clumsy cohabitation continues! As they're enjoying their time together, a sorcerer coveting the power of an Archdemon comes charging in, covered in armor from head to toe. Zagan easily repels them, but finds that they're a young dragon girl named Foll. Meanwhile, the church has brought over an Angelic Knight who's rumored to have even killed a dragon to tackle the newly crowned Archdemon... Will our awkward Archdemon and elf ever close the gap between them, or will all the commotion get in their way!?

The castle has become lively with the addition of a butler and a daughter, and as Zagan and Nephy's awkward days continue, Nephy is suddenly attacked in town. And the one who attacked her... is a girl who looks identical to Nephy, but with dark skin?! Immediately following that incident, Zagan receives an invitation from an Archdemon to an evening ball on a boat?! The residents of Zagan's castle head off toward a luxurious party, fully aware of the danger!

Zagan's group heads off to Nephy's hometown in order to learn more about high elves. However, when they arrive, they get trapped in a barrier that distorts time! While they're in there, Zagan's beloved bride Nephy is... turned into a little girl!? The precocious little Nephy is cute in her own right, but there's no way Zagan can just leave her be! Will Zagan and the others find the culprit behind Nephy's curse before it's too late?

Zagan and the others turn Foll older temporarily to help her grow stronger. However, the ritual goes berserk, and when Foll grows bigger, Zagan shrinks! Following Orias' advice, they decide to attend the Continental Interracial Elders Conference in the Far-East in order to obtain powers aside from sorcery. What awaits them there is a member of the Night Clan, beings who live eternal lives, Alshiera. And somehow, this girl they meet for the first time seems to know Zagan and Nephy...

Since they're already all the way out in the ocean, Zagan's group decides to go relax on a beach. Everybody changes clothes, and the men are all dazzled by the sight of the women in swimsuits. However, things take a turn when an Archangel named Michael drops by to deliver news that a sorcerer who slaughtered one of the Archdemons has marked Zagan as their next target!

Zagan searches for the whereabouts of his old friend Marc as the town livens due to a festival called Alshiere Imera. Apparently this festival bears the tradition of giving presents to those dear to you. Zagan and Barbatos have a late start on the festival and mill about in confusion. Stella and Alshiera are completely carefree and are here to play. And for some reason, Kuroka is now a cat? It seems another Archdemon is somehow involved and is hot on her tails!

On to the honeymoon! Zagan has decided to introduce Nephy to Orias both as a means to cheer her up from her anxieties of healing Kuroka's eyes, as well as to gain more information on Archdemon Shere Khan. However, Orias herself has vanished, leaving behind the message, "I'm going to retrieve Azazel's Staff." Thus, the two of them depart for the Holy Cut, the headquarters of the church, to chase after her. And in order to avoid any unnecessary suspicion, they decide to pose as a newlywed couple!

After accepting Lilith's request for a larger bath, Zagan begins the construction of a grand bath in his castle to reward the services of his subordinates and provide a place of relaxation for Nephy and the other girls. Life in the castle is as peaceful and noisy as ever. However, Bifrons' evil schemes are advancing toward them, and the mysteries of what Alshiera has been fighting against for so long slowly begin to unravel.

In order to thank Zagan for building the castle's grand bath, Lilith offers to use her powers to help Zagan and Nephy enjoy a date within their dreams. But will that really work out, considering their devastatingly poor sense of imagination? Meanwhile, the hunt for Shere Khan intensifies as more Archdemons reveal themselves and the looming threat Alshiera has been fighting draws ever closer.

Nephy learns of Zagan’s impending birthday from Alshiera, which is information that Zagan himself doesn’t even know. Seeing this as an opportunity, Nephy leads the charge in putting together a surprise party for him, but with her past experiences being what they are, she has no idea how birthdays are celebrated. Meanwhile, Zagan also learns from Orias that Nephy’s birthday is coming within the month, and the two Archdemons decide to mark that day as Nephteros’s birthday as well. Much like Nephy, however, Zagan is ignorant of how birthdays work as he tries to plan a surprise for her. The entire castle is in a celebratory mood, but dark clouds loom over the horizon. Zagan knows of a terrible problem haunting Nephteros that has to be addressed before any sort of celebration is an option, and he still has no idea how to resolve it. What’s more, after a month of relative peace and quiet, Shere Khan and Bifrons finally make their move.

Nephteros has been possessed by Azazel, so Alshiera vows to kill her. Gremory has gone missing, and Kimaris has vanished in search of her. Bifrons’s plans are coming to fruition. All the while, an army of ten thousand resurrected heroes looms in the distance. After months of relative peace and quiet, it is time for the all-out battle between Zagan and Shere Khan to begin. Everything is at stake as Zagan vows to protect his family and all of his subordinates, refusing to let a single one of them get hurt. What’s more, Nephy requests that everything is resolved in three days so that Zagan’s surprise birthday party can still be held.

Having finally dealt with Shere Khan, a party is held to celebrate both the victory and Zagan’s birthday. Spirits are high all around when Gremory, who has been starved of love power due to her mission, declares the start of the Kianoides love power general meeting. Participants are dragged in, willingly or otherwise, and must recount love stories both recent and old to provide the granny with her requisite dose of sugar. Prepare for the most densely packed volume of sweetness ever to be published for this series to date!

The battle between Archdemons may be over, but Zagan still has plenty of problems at hand. He doesn’t have a birthday present for Nephy yet—and the special day is closing in fast! What’s more, now that the group knows of Shere Khan and Lisette Dantalian’s fates, they’re also determined to mend the relationship between Angelic Knights and sorcerers. Their solution? Leaving it all to an unrestrained Gremory! And most pressingly, hundreds of Shere Khan’s Nephilim survived the conflict. Since these resurrected heroes of the past can’t be left to roam, Zagan creates a town for them and decides that his beloved daughter Foll will be in charge! She’s extremely motivated to succeed at her first big job, but then a wounded girl with no memories appears out of nowhere...

With all thirteen Archdemons present, Eldest Marchosias reveals the shocking truth behind the war from one thousand years ago. Also, in one year, the world will apparently end. Before Zagan can carefully process this continuous stream of revelations, Eldest Marchosias’s schemes are already set in motion!
