When the academy is attacked by demons, Seika discovers that Amyu is the Hero. Eager to capitalize on her future power, Seika tries to befriend Amyu, only to be promptly rejected. Soon, an opportunity to forge a connection presents itself when both are “chosen” to perform a ceremony for the academy. Seika and Amyu enter the academy’s forest together only to discover a suspicious magic circle that teleports them into a dungeon in the blink of an eye. Will they make it out alive? Now a second-year student at the academy, Seika is asked by the headmistress to participate in a combat tournament as the academy’s representative. Although he initially intends to decline, Seika changes his mind when introduced to the other representative, an uncanny girl named Mabel Crane. Between the unusual atmosphere about Mabel and the headmistress’s strange behavior, Seika decides there must be more to the tournament than meets the eye and elects to participate. What mysteries will the exorcist, committed to lying low, uncover as he advances in the tournament?
