A dream of death was the wake-up call he needed. Lofus Ray Lightless is far from a paragon of virtue. In fact, he revels in his villainy. But a vivid dream of the many ways he’s fated to die convinces him that he must change his ways—or at least pretend like he will. With his trusty butler at his side, Lofus sets forth to turn the tides of fate in his favor so that he can enjoy a long and selfish life. But the future isn’t quite what he’s seen, and he might have bitten off far more than he can chew...

Lofus dives into a terrific battle to change fate in his favor once more! After his battle against the Wicked Whale, Lofus squares off against an Alraune, a favorite familiar of his house’s founder, which guards the founder’s tumulus. In a strange twist of fate, Lofus leaps in to rescue the Scarlet Wind space pirates who are intruding on the tumulus. Among these pirates is another one of Lofus’s would-be murderers in his dream of a potential future. But something is a bit...off. In Lofus’s dream, no one ever infiltrated his house’s tomb—and if Lofus hadn’t been here now to save them, the girl who would kill him would’ve most certainly died there. Furthermore, it was nigh impossible for the former Lofus to have gone out to save the Scarlet Wind of his own accord. Has he changed the gears of fate too much? Or is there someone else who holds the same knowledge of the future, trying to change fate to their favor?

The Stelia arc kicks off! Guided by a mysterious girl named Yunaile, our ever-so-villainous protagonist begrudgingly sets out to save Warm from his imprisonment. Needless to say, none of it is easy. From a labyrinthian prison to the kingdom’s strongest swordsman, many obstacles bar Lofus’s path, but the Lightless heir remains undeterred. His real goal isn’t to save his friend anyway—it’s to make a certain swindler pay. Lofus teams up with the Scarlet Wind, but all of them struggle to lay a scratch on the infamous hit man Red Cap, who has an uncanny ability to defeat mages without breaking a sweat. This is bad news for Lofus, who has done everything he can to prevent his own death! Amid all this confusion, Lilka isn’t quite herself... Can Lofus survive this encounter? Will Warm be freed? And what secrets hide behind Lilka’s pensive gaze?
