Paying to Win in a VRMMO

The fabulously wealthy heir to the Tsuwabuki Concern, Ichiro Tsuwabuki, has arrived inside the next generation virtual reality MMO, Narrow Fantasy Online. His cousin Asuha has asked for his help in finding someone inside the game, and he's come to help her out. Of course, while he's happy enough to help his cousin out, Ichiro also cannot be satisfied with anything but total mastery of whatever he tries. He quickly proceeds to dominate the game world using his natural genius... and his wallet!

For Ichiro Tsuwabuki, gaming iconoclast and unparalleled whale, things have never been better. The VRMMO Narrow Fantasy Online is providing him with more entertainment and fulfillment than real life has for quite some time. Unfortunately, his unflinching dedication to being himself has left behind a long string of infuriated gamers. This volume recounts the story of Ichiro's first week as a player in Narrow Fantasy Online, commissioning (and confusing) an aspiring young Alchemist, and sparking a fight with a powerful enemy in the Akihabara Forging Guild!

Fabulously wealthy whale Ichiro Tsuwabuki has little interest in romance, but that won't stop the mysterious Nem from going all-out in a VRMMO battle for his indifferent heart. She makes her move while Ichiro is off indulging in a meeting with the game's genius developer, recruiting some of the VRMMO's most unsavory avatars to help her put pressure on her foremost rival, Iris. With Ichiro and his bottomless pocketbook tied up elsewhere, it's up to the ever-loyal Kirschwasser to hold the line and save their crafting guild's most valuable player!

Iris has accepted Nem's challenge for a fantasy fashion battle, and the day is drawing near. There's only one condition: Ichiro's not allowed to help in any way! As Iris strains to find the inspiration (and the funds) to conquer a professional designer, other players appear with an intent to influence the competition from behind the scenes!

Ichiro's account has been hacked, and it's going on a rampage! While Iris, Kirschwasser, and other players inside the game work together to try to restrain one of its most powerful avatars, Ichiro, Asuha, and Sera in the real world must work with the game's developers to figure out who could have done this... and why they can't be stopped through normal means. When a (not very) beloved avatar is turned to (more chaotic) evil, the whole NaroFan community unites!
