After Izumi Mine, they travel to the capital of the Werther Duchy, where they uncover a scheme to sabotage a venerable merchant house. When rumor reaches them of a pair of lupalunes who may be Tien’s parents, Nina takes it upon herself to go undercover in the band of mercenaries the two belong to. Next, Emily convinces them to join her on a trip to a beach resort only to find that the local hot spring has dried up under suspicious circumstances. And an unexpected proposal leaves Nina no choice but to take part in a duel...with another maid?! With adventures and intrigue waiting around every corner, Nina does what any maid would do—she rolls up her sleeves and gets to work!
