Bifrons's own servant Nephteros quickly falls prey to the beast and is absorbed as part of the monster. Despite her past antagonism, Nephy pleads with Zagan to save the poor girl from her miserable fate. Not one to turn down a request from his bride, Zagan sets forth to do the impossible as sorcerers and Angelic Knights alike must now band together in a desperate fight for survival!

After getting some much-needed advice, Zagan learns of a mysterious event know as a “date” and goes on a research trip in town.

While on the run from Archdemon Bifrons and their chimera, Nephteros is saved by Chastille at the last second. The girls take safe refuge inside the church, but the chimera is not the only looming threat... Meanwhile, Bifrons has infiltrated the town with intent of using Azazel to torment Zagan. It just so happens Azazel is the name of the thirteenth Sacred Sword that Zagan is investigating...

After sheltering Nephteros in the church, Chastille is attacked by a mysterious assassin named Azazel. The assassin is thwarted thanks to Barbatos, but just when things seem to be calming down, the chimera that was chasing Nephteros appears once more. Meanwhile, Zagan scours the city in hopes of locating Bifrons. Everything comes to a head as a clash between the two Archdemons grows inevitable.
